A saxophone and a clarinet, some toys, a couple of flutes, 4-track recordings, a turntable, intuitive percussions, hours of editing and tired eyes: Why Not You Be Among These Happy Dancers offers liquid landscapes floating like an old mobile in a candid and intriguing universe. Recorded sporadically between autumn 2003 and winter 2004, this is the fruit of a rich collaboration between Simon Bélair and Colin Vernon, both members of the Natacha's Recordings Sound System and the Rivers and Mountains ensemble. Why Not You Be Among These Happy Dancers embodies the hits, the hazy cosmic jazz.
